WHAT WONDERFUL MEMORIES For 11 wonderful years, Cikku was lucky enough to make his living from doing what he loved best...working with Australia's National soccer teams at~all levels, from Under 17 to the Socceroos. It was a life which took him to over 40 countries all over the world and was privileged to meet some of the biggest football names, and worked together with Australia's best football talent. For a man to whom football was a life long passion, this was a dream come true! To eat, drink an sleep football 24 hours a day while travelling the world was paradise. There were countless highlights, from being in Seoul for a tournament which included the National team of my beloved Malta and seeing them play for the very first time in my life, the 1993 FIFA World Youth Championships held in Australia and of course our epic World Cup qualifiers against Argentina for the final place in World Cup'94 - in which the great Diego Maradona made his comeback and the attention of the football world was firmly focused on Australia. But my biggest pleasure was in seeing 15 year old boys slowly developing into the world class players that they are today...and getting the financial rewards they fully deserve for giving up so much of their lives to football. People like Mark Bosnich, Mark Schwarzer, Ned Zelic, Paul Okon, Stan Lazaridis, Craig Moore, Tony and Aurelio Vidmar, Kevin Muscat, Graham Arnold, Frank Farina, Robbie Slater, Danny Tiatto, Steve Corica, Mark Viduka, Hayden Foxe...the list goes on and on! ~~
